What is “Expose and Bond or Expose and Chain”?

During the procedure the unerupted teeth or tooth is exposed and an orthodontic attachment is bonded to it. The attachment is connected to a gold chain that is used by the orthodontist to coax the tooth into position at an orthodontic appointment.
