Dr. Coffey enjoys taking on complicated problems, helping general dentists with difficult issues and helping patients figure out their best possible treatment options.
“I like helping with broken jaws, broken facial bones, removing pathology from the jaws, reconstructing patients with missing jaws and missing teeth, giving people back the function of natural teeth when they have lost their teeth and are wearing dentures,” Dr. Coffey says.
Outside of the office, Dr. Coffey likes to make furniture, go boating, attend Jays basketball games and watch movies — his favorite is “Back to the Future.” Dr. Coffey is married to his high school sweetheart, Amanda. He enjoys taking his three daughters to all of their activities.
Dr. Coffey lectures on implants, surgery and full-mouth rehabilitation. He also works with the Nebraska Opioid Task Force to educate dentists about limiting patients’ opioid exposure.
