Facial Cosmetic Procedures > Endoscopic Brow Lift
Pre-Operative Instructions and Post-Operative Instructions
When your forehead muscles slump you can look tired all over. Dr. Kuhn uses telescopic instruments attached to small lighted rods (endoscopes), to eliminate deep creases in the forehead and frown lines by adjusting the skin upward. By removing portions of the muscles that create lines, the whole area is smoothed and tightened permanently and the eyebrow itself is restored to a more youthful and natural position.
Who Makes a Good Candidate?
Many patients wanting a brow lift have droopy brows which often contributes to heavy, loose upper eyelid skin.
During your consultation, Dr. Kuhn may use digital images of your face and profile. He will utilize image altering technology to work with you to develop and understand what may be possible. It is important to note that computer imaging gives an idea of the intended result but may not represent the exact outcome.
Understanding the Procedure.
Endoscopic lifts requires four to six one inch incisions around and in the hairline. The skin is repositioned without skin removal. The procedure is more safe, stable and recovery time is less then traditional brow lifts.
Safe and Simple Recovery.
You will experience some swelling and bruising in the ten days following surgery. In some patients, the condition may include the cheek and eye area as well as the forehead. The sutures and staples are removed seven to ten days following surgery.
